Whatever Floats Your Boat! In-Person
FOR AGES 6 AND UP. Ahoy, young engineers! Join us for a STEM adventure where you’ll design and build your very own tin foil boat! You’ll test the buoyancy of your creation and see how much weight it can hold before sinking. Will your boat stay afloat with a heavy load or will it dive under pressure? Come explore the science behind floating and sinking, and discover how materials and shape impact the way objects float in water. It’s a fun, hands-on experiment that’ll challenge your creativity and problem-solving skills!
