Migratory Birds In-Person
Celebrate the beauty of the season and the wonder of migration through art! Join us for a hands-on workshop where participants will sculpt their own migratory birds from clay. Learn about different bird species, their migration journeys, and the habitats they rely on—then bring one to life with your own creative touch.
Local artist and educator Jill Obrig will guide you through basic sculpting techniques and help you design a one-of-a-kind clay bird to take home. This is session one of a two part series; please ensure you are able to attend both dates before signing up:
November 1st - sculpt your bird
November 8th - glaze your bird
Your birds will then be fired and ready to pick up on November 15th! This workshop is open to children and adults 8+; younger children may collaborate with a parent or adult to create a bird together.
Space is limited and registration is required.
